Why we publish what we practice
Lakeway Business Consulting publishes the same playbooks it runs for clients, because a firm that cannot explain its method in public is asking you to buy on faith.
By Vinay Radhakrishnan
Most consulting content is written to be impressive. This one is written to be used.
Everything published here is a working artifact: the actual playbooks, checklists, and diagnostic questions we run inside our marketing and strategic advisory engagements. When we write about structuring a Meta ads account, it is the structure we build. When we write about a first-90-days operating cadence, it is the cadence we install.
Why give it away
Three reasons, in order of honesty.
First, the method is not the moat. Any competent operator can read a playbook. Executing it consistently, against a real P&L, with a business owner who already works sixty hours a week, is the hard part. That is what you hire for.
Second, it is the fastest way to qualify a fit. If you read a playbook and think "we can run this ourselves," run it. You will be better off, and we would rather you reach that conclusion in ten minutes than after a proposal cycle.
Third, publishing forces rigor. A recommendation that has to survive being written down in public gets stress-tested in a way that a slide in a client deck never does.
What to expect
Four kinds of posts: Guides for foundational how-to, like our Andromeda-era Meta ads playbook; Playbooks for step-by-step operating procedures, like turning POS data into Meta custom audiences; Case Studies for what happened when we ran them; and Answers for the specific questions Austin and Lakeway owners actually ask us.
No gated PDFs. No thought leadership about the future of anything. Just the work.
